The Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe is a 13.25" zoned hybrid. It has a GlacioTex phase-change cover, copper-infused responsive foam, memory foam and 8" zoned pocketed coils. You can add an optional Cloud pillow top that brings it to 14.5". It comes in Soft, Medium and Firm, which Mattress Clarity rates about 5, 7 and 7.5, averaging 6.5. This Brooklyn Aurora Luxe review sees it as one of the best-rounded hybrids in our dataset for side, back and combination sleepers. Its cooling marketing does outpace independent results.

What we like
- Pressure relief and edge support both rated 5/5
- Three firmness levels, plus an optional pillow top
- Lively, responsive feel (bounce 4/5) from zoned coils and responsive foam
- Limited lifetime warranty and a lower price than most luxury hybrids
Watch out for
- Cooling rated 4/5, but Mattress Clarity found it only average despite the phase-change cover
- 120-night trial, shorter than year-long competitors
- Price sources conflict, so confirm the current queen price
Aurora Luxe feel and firmness
The firmness options aren't evenly spaced. Soft is a true medium-soft at about 5, but Medium is rated about 7, so it's firmer than most brands' Medium. Firm is about 7.5. Responsive foam keeps the surface lively, and memory foam and zoned coils handle contouring and support. The feel is buoyant with some cushion, not a deep hug.
Best (and worst) sleeping positions
Side sleepers should choose Soft, or Medium if they weigh over about 200 lbs. The 5/5 pressure relief is the bed's strongest score. Back sleepers usually land on Medium. Stomach sleepers and heavier back sleepers should choose Firm. The worst fit is a light side sleeper who picks Medium expecting a true middle feel, since it's closer to 7.
The optional Cloud pillow top raises the bed to 14.5" and adds a softer surface to whichever firmness you choose. It's worth considering if you're a side sleeper who wants the Medium's support with more cushion at the shoulder. Stomach sleepers, who generally want a flatter surface, can skip it.
Cooling, motion and edges
Edges score 5, so the coil perimeter feels solid. Motion isolation is a 4, which is good for couples. Our 4/5 cooling rating reflects the phase-change cover and coil airflow, but Mattress Clarity found real-world cooling only average. That's why we don't tag it as a pick for hot sleepers.
The copper-infused foam is also marketed for heat transfer. As with the cover, treat the cooling claims cautiously and use the trial to judge them for yourself.
Price, trial and warranty
Brooklyn Bedding lists the queen at about $1,465, often on sale for around $1,026. Mattress Clarity still lists a higher price, so check before you buy. You get a 120-night trial, and the official page shows a limited lifetime warranty. An older Tom's Guide review said 10 years, so confirm the terms.
How it compares
The Saatva Classic also offers three firmness levels with strong edges and pressure relief. It adds white-glove delivery and a 365-night trial for a higher price. The Bear Elite Hybrid is taller and zoned but sleeps warmer by independent tests. If you only sleep on your side, the medium Helix Midnight is a simpler single-feel choice. The Aurora Luxe also appears in our best mattress for side sleepers list.

Our verdict
The Aurora Luxe offers a lot for the money, with top-rated pressure relief and edges, a firmness for each position and a lifetime warranty. Pick Soft for side sleeping and Firm for stomach sleeping, and remember that Medium runs firm. Skip it if cooling is your top priority or you want a year-long trial.

Questions about the Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe
Is the Aurora Luxe Medium really medium?
It runs firm. Mattress Clarity rates the Medium at about 7 out of 10, while the Soft is about 5. Side sleepers who want a true middle feel may be happier on the Soft.
Does the Brooklyn Aurora Luxe sleep cool?
It has a GlacioTex phase-change cover and coils for airflow, and we rate it 4/5. However, Mattress Clarity found its cooling only average in testing. If you sleep very hot, a latex or grid hybrid may do better.
What warranty does the Aurora Luxe have?
Brooklyn Bedding's product page lists a limited lifetime warranty. An older Tom's Guide review cited 10 years, so confirm the current terms at checkout. The trial is 120 nights, so you have time to check the firmness you chose.
