Feel and firmness of the Helix Dawn
A 7 out of 10 puts the Dawn in firm territory. You lie on top of the bed with only light contouring from the memory foam. The coils make the surface feel lively rather than dead-flat, and the firm feel comes from firm support underneath rather than a hard surface.
SupremeSupport memory foam sits near the top, so you get a brief contour before the coils take over. The reinforced edges are clearly a design priority. That pays off if you share a queen and want to use the full width.
Best (and worst) sleeping positions
Back sleepers over about 130 lbs are the core audience. The firmer support stops the lower back from sagging. Stomach sleepers, who need the most hip support of any position, are another good match. Combination sleepers who switch between back and stomach will like the bounce. Side sleepers are the clear miss. At 7/10 with 3/5 pressure relief, most will feel pressure at the shoulder and hip.
